Clarksville Association of Realtors gives back for Veterans Day

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- The Clarksville Association of Realtors® (CAR) hosted their second CAR gives back event on Veterans Day, November 11.

The event gives Clarksville-area Realtors®, with their Affiliate Partners, a chance to repair an area veteran’s house who might not be able to make the improvements on their own. CAR volunteers helped clean the property of a WWII Navy veteran, Arthur Bailey, so that he can move easier around his property.

“We are so proud of our Realtors, affiliates, and local businesses that have supported this chance to give back to a special veteran for a second year,” said Valerie Dirks, 2016 Chair of the CAR Charity Relations Committee.

“These Realtors are a great group of folks,” said Bailey. “I really appreciate everything they’ve done,” said Bailey.

“As Realtors, we feel that giving back to our community is a joy,” said Dirks. “We owe so much to our Veterans, and having the opportunity to give back to one of them is really special,” said Dirks.

The Clarksville Association of Realtors has over 768 active realtor members and 71 affiliate partners that work together to improve the public awareness of the value of realtors to the community and to the benefits of their services. The Clarksville Association of Realtors also serves to promote the success and future developments of its members in association with the Tennessee and National Associations of Realtors.
